YMCA Camp Sea Gull and YMCA Camp Seafarer have had several successful capital campaigns since its founding. Capital contributions provide the additional resources required to meet our facility needs, covering the majority of expenses related to major maintenance projects, storm recovery, critical facility renovations and the addition of new facilities.
As the need for what Camp offers grows, it’s imperative that our facilities keep pace. Many of the most beloved spaces at Sea Gull and Seafarer – rustic cabins that have sheltered generations of campers, staff housing that supports our leadership, core facilities that keep everything running – are well beyond their normal lifespan. And that has a direct impact on the Camp experience. We are focused on restoring and upgrading these spaces in ways that preserve what truly makes Sea Gull and Seafarer irreplaceable.
